A 20-minute walk from the train station, the "Relais Culturel Château Rouge" is an association that has established itself over the past thirty years as a centre for live performances in the Haute-Savoie region of France and a Franco-Swiss cross-border cultural link.

Its missions concern the diffusion of all the disciplines of the Performing Arts with a specificity on contemporary music, dance and theatre, the actions with the actors of the local cultural life, the cross-border cooperation and the support to creation.

There are many parks in Vernier that are ideal for walking. Among the many natural areas of the region, the Bois de la Grille Nature Reserve is a privileged place boasting 10 hectares of forest and dry meadows where many protected plants grow. You can also stroll along the banks of the Rhône River, which have recently been renovated. They offer a practicable path for people to enjoy the natural surroundings.

A 10-minute walk from Versoix Station, this pebble beach was created in 2010. It has a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva and its coastline. A park with large trees for picnics is also available.

The Musée du Chablais at the Château de Sonnaz, a historic residence which also houses the tourist office, enjoys an exceptional panorama of Lake Geneva and the Jura Mountains. It hosts permanent exhibitions, as well as a temporary exhibition that is renewed every year.

It is located 10 minutes on foot from the station.

A trip to the past on the highest cogwheel train in France; in winter, reach the splendid Bellevue Plateau and enjoy the Les Houches / Saint Gervais ski area. In summer, reach the summits by traveling up to the Nid d'Aigle or Eagle's Nest at an altitude of 2372 metres. Departure in front of St-Gervais-les-Bains-Le Fayet Station.




The Hautetour Fortified House is located 2 kilometres from the station and present the history of the local mountain guides Compagnie des guides de Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc. It also holds temporary exhibitions and artist residencies. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the learning about high-altitude mountains and being a professional mountain guide. Access by free shuttle bus or bus depending on the season.

An original venue dedicated to contemporary art, located 2 km from the station. It’s a unique space hosting various visual artists. A free shuttle bus in summer and winter from the St-Gervais-les-Bains-le Fayet station. Admission is also free.
