Activities

10 minutes on foot from Meyrin Station, take a stroll in Mother Nature’s backyard.

A place where people can recharge their batteries while discovering more than 200 plants from around the world. ‘It's interesting because it sheds light on our relationship with living beings, allowing us to question the way we want to cohabit with nature. It is a fragile and subtle environment, whose qualities are the responsibility of the public.

Did you know ?

Meyrin Station was built in 1857, at the same time as Geneva, Vernier-Meyrin Cargo, and Satigny Stations to develop the region’s commercial exports. It was inaugurated on 16 March 1858 when the Lyon - Geneva line was commissioned.

Between Meyrin and Vernier Stations, there is another station called Vernier-Meyrin Cargo station, intended for goods transport.
