Located about 7 minutes' walk from Pringy Station, Annecy Genevois Hospital is the main hospital in the department. It provides global services thanks to a wide range of equipment and services: operating theatre, imaging, laboratory, and more. All medical and surgical specialities are present, including the referral specialities (cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, intensive care, etc.). A maternity ward, an emergency department, and psychiatric units complete the hospital's offer.

Pringy Station was commissioned on 5 June 1884 by Compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et Annecy à la Méditerranée (PLM), when it opened the Annecy and La Roche-sur-Foron sections.
