Versoix station is located between Creux-de-Genthod and Pont-Céard Stations.
Versoix - Bourg was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
Indeed, this prehistoric station, located on the shores of Versoix, is home to remains of lake dwellings, which were present around the lakes, Alpine marshes, and along the edges of the Alpine arc.
This prehistoric palafittic village, situated about 170 m off the present shore, is one of the most deeply submerged prehistoric settlements on Lake Geneva: Its remains are preserved up to about five metres below the water level.
